My dog got stung or bit by something during our morning walk resulting in his scrotum getting rather swollen. Needless to say, he was a tad uncomfortable. Black Dog Hospital staff let me bring him right in. Dr. Boyle treated him and our boy is resting comfortably now. He's a happy dog once again. Thank you all for your friendly nature and for seeing us right away! And for putting up with this high energy bundle of fur!

I am new to the area, and do not have a regular vet established yet. My kitty was having issues with her anal gland which we'd never experienced before. Black Dog was able to get us scheduled for an appointment the same day despite not being a current patient. I paid a $50 deposit to hold my spot, which then went toward my total bill at the end. They immediately brought us to her own room to wait for the tech, which is always nice. Vada appreciated her window view while we waited. 😎 They physically examined her, discovered she had an infection, and prescribed us pain meds and antibiotics to go home with. My kitty is not the most pleasant to deal with in this context, but everyone was very kind and patient with her. I also really appreciate that they took the care to confirm my antibiotic preference before treating her in the office, and took the time to answer all of my questions! Overall pleasant experience, and the appointment took less than an hour. I would return to this vet in the future if the need were to arise. It was a little under $150 for everything, which I think is quite fair.
