This place used to be remarkable, but not anymore… Beware of Dr Schmidt, and everyone else who works here. I spent nearly $500 on just tests/meds when my dog with KD was also diagnosed with Pancreatitis, and I received a half-assessed treatment plan that didn’t help my dog the first time BECAUSE of the instructions Dr Schmidt gave me. It wasn’t the medication’s fault, it was her lack of care or ignorance that was the problem. I was forced to purchase another round of meds so that I could do a second treatment, but this time I decided to ignore her instructions, and after that my dog got better… Go figure! Maybe you don’t see the problem in keeping pets sick and forcing them to come back to your clinic for profit, but I sure do. You’re supposed to be the knowledgeable professional, and yet I got better advice for free from different reputable sources online. Now I have an idea on how to manage my dog’s delicate health long-term, and it’s NOT thanks to Dr Schmidt! My family and I already found an awesome vet, so no worries there but I want to warn everyone to think twice (maybe even three times) before coming here!!

We have been going here for over 35 years. I can’t tell you enough how great the staff and the veterinarians are. Even though we moved out of the area, we still drive from Minneapolis to Lakeville to go to Southfork. They have an amazing staff, they are thorough, dedicated, and caring. I wouldn’t switch vets for anything!
