We quickly and unexpectedly had to make the decision to put our “Buddy” down. I called around different vets during the day for pricing, as our dog didn’t have a primary veterinary and we took him to other places for routine yearly vaccines. After speaking with “her” about pricing, (I wish I knew her name), I called Ham Lake Vet Hospital again the night prior to having to put Buddy down to ask for advice and explained what was going on and she was so heartfelt and kind with her answers with what we were explaining. My male cat has had urinary issues his whole 13 years of life’s he’s had surgeries and I went out of state for his care. Not one single veterinarian office has matched the support we had at Ham Lake Vet Hospital for literally only 24 hours and they hadn’t even met us yet.. My husband decided we couldn’t be in the room at the very end. But “she” maintained the fact that she’d be snuggling him and holding him during his last breath and remind him how loved he is. I seriously cannot get over how compassionate she, and your whole staff, is. No amount of saying “thank you” is enough. This was one of the hardest days of our lives and your staff were so gentle with us. Didn’t rush us at all, as we came at like 4:45pm. Thank you. For making such a difficult day just a little easier. We may have just been another customer to you but you made a huge impact on our lives. I hope we don’t have to worry about this with our cat.. but if we do.. we will be with you guys. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Please contact me or Chris with her name so I can edit this review. And thank you to ALL of your staff for being so compassionate on such a difficult day for us.

I transferred after a local place closed and always really liked them. Didn't consider them to up-sell me on unnecessary expenses, until my last visit. I spent nearly 500 on probiotics that only worked for a short time. I understand I didn't have a sample therefore cant diagnosis but at being quoted 250 dollars x 3 dogs for a GI bug?! Plus exams and meds. No way-I used to work in this industry and that is insane mark up/oversale. I called around and found similar tests for 50-150. Lost a client on this one.
